I'm thinking of hiring a maid. With my full time job and keeping the books up for Neil's business I just don't seem to have the time to clean my house anymore. So I talked to Neil last night to make sure he didn't have any problem with some stranger coming in our home once a week, and he doesn't....so I'm going see if the lady that does my mom's house can come once a week.

i think it's great! once a week is perfect and it's so much LESS stress on you and you're marriage. rock on!
YES! Do it! It's great. Only problem is.......you now have to make sure your house is clean enough for the maid to come and clean it. You'll see!
But either way it'll force you to pick up the clutter once in a while. I bet you'll decide on every other week after a while.

I asked my husband about doing that, but the idea of a stranger coming into our house freaked him out! Of course, he thinks everyone steals things, even our friends and family (although some of his family members do, so that's probably where he gets it from).
WELL she goes to church with my uncle so not a complete stranger. ALthough he keeps forgetting to ask her. Calling him now!
See I'm a neat freak, I try to deep clean my house at least once a week....this way I can just focus on the everyday things like clothes, dishes, picking up, and keep ing the kitchen floor clean. lol with while tile...a 2 year old, a husband, and a dog this task occupies alot of my time!
