What a weekend! Saturday Maddie and I went to a wedding here. It was beautiful...overlooking the bay right at sunset. Jenny was a georgous bride and David was the cutest groom ever. I *heart* them. Since we were family we got to sit ont he 3rd row behind the grandparents. The usher walked Jenny's grandmother over and sat her directly in front of M's chair.....to which she said 'momma, that lady needs to move, I can't see a thing!" Loudly...for everyone to hear. Maddie was a dancing queen! Usually she's a bit shy and reserved around people she doesn't know, but not this weekend. She would just go grab random men and drag them out to dance with her. One of the bridesmaids took her shoes off and M put them on and did her tap dance for everyone. lol It was a good time, I'm glad we got to go....and let me just say I can't wait for Tim's wedding next June in Hawaii!!!woohoo.

I'm leaving Lucy with Brandy this weekend because I couldn't find a single hotel within a 50 mile radius (of Pensacola) that would allow me to bring a pet. I hope she doesn't take Madilyn killing her fish out on Luc I'm super excited about the wedding we're going to this weekend (fuck, I still have to get a gift). It will be the first time I have gotten to see my cousin Terri since I was pregnant with M.This will also be the first wedding I have ever taken Maddie too, let's hope that she can refrain from announcing to the entire place that she "pooted." *sigh* my child thinks passing gas is THE funniest thing EVER. She giggles and then has to announce it loudly to everyone. Maddie has been wearing big girl panties for a few weeks now...so far so good. She's only had one accident. When she first started going to the potty we made this huge deal out of it..like "Oh you went into he potty, good girl!" and if I didn't hear her go I would say let me see. SO now when we go to the bathroom and I go she wants to see and she congratulates me on being a big girl and going "peepee" by myself. People in the stall next to us usually get a big kick out of this!

Nails

I'm thinking of taking my nails off. Not because I don't like them, but because I hate having to go in and get them redone every two weeks. Not to mention that everytime I go I get a fill in ($28.00) a pedicure ($25.00) and my eyebrows waxed ($13.00). Oh and not to mention whatever the hell they are selling out front that week. Yep, I spend right at $75.00 everytime I walk through their door...no wonder they practically greet me at the car. I have to hurry up and decide though...I'm supposed to get a fill in this afternoon.

I know I've mentioned my grandmother before, but have i ever mentioned how much I love this woman? SHe came down yesterday for an appointment, and decided to pick Maddie up from school. SHe took her shoping and got her a new bathing suit, some bunny rabbit stuffed toy(that Lucy LOVES), some new clothes (that we didn't need, lol) and some new shoes.Shoes. I buy at least three or four pair over the summer and they all look like you just pulled them out of the dumpster. Already this summer I have bought 3 pair of sandals (2 for daycare, 1 for not) 2 pair of crocs, and a pair of flip flops. My grandmother bought her a pair of tennis shoes yesterday. The kid is rough on shoes, but Neil has about 5 pair of worn out tennis shoes himself that I've bought in the past year. *sigh* (the f'in paragraph thing still isn't working) My grandmother also kept her last night and Neil and I went to eat at Bonefish. Yummy. It was the second best filet I've ever put in my mouth. The first was at the is place we went to at Orange Beach Marina and it cost about $150 bucks for Neil and I to eat, so it damn well should be good!

Fish Killer

That is what my daughter is. Brandy has had her fish for about five years. M spends one night over there and kills it. Although it wasn't entirely her fault, Brandy did say she could feed it. She also didn't specify HOW much food she could feed it. How was Maddie supposed to know that it didn't need the entire container of food? She thought he was hungry. lol Hi my name is Tina and my daughte is a fish killer.

My baby had her first dance recital this past weekend, and she was wonderful! I was a little worried that she wouldn't go out there and I would have wasted all that money but she did great. They published pictures in the program and we took out 3 (yes 3 ) ads and they are hilarious! One was an old picture that I had to give them because she refused to take a picture by herself. The guy that put the programs together told me he thought it was the best one! I was scared the quality wouldn't be a s good because they had to scan it. The other was one of her, my sister and little cousin HOLDING her by each hand in the middle of them to make her take her picture. She has this "eat shit assholes," look on her face that is priceless. The other is of her and my sister, and Tasha is holding her and she has the same look. lol these will be great pics to embarrass her with in 10 years. Hopefully when we get the DVD's back I can put the dances on the web somewhere so everyone can watch. Until then you can go here. My niece (N's sister's little girl) was supposed to be in the recital, but her mom decided a few months ago to pull her out. She told her mother (N's mom) that it was because Abby was being bad in class. Well, at recital practice Abby's dance teacher found me and asked me how Abby was feeling and when the doctors thought she might be able to come back? WTF...The kid isn't sick. But her piece of shit mother lied ABOUT HER CHILD"S HEALTH and told them that she was sick and having to have some kind of treatments and would maybe be able to dance next year. I was livid. I usually try to let Neil's mom have this disillusioned dream that her daughter is a wonderful person, and the reason she can't get along with anyone is that the entire world (or just the city of Mobile) is out to get her. This time I couldn't, I couldn't let her think that Abby had done something wrong to get pulled out when in all reality her mother was just too lazy to get off her fat ass on her off day and take her. She was shocked that Melanie would ever lie at all, maybe they misunderstood her.Yeah right. But now Melanie can't ever take Abby back to dance because I made her look like a lair. Um...That's what she is, but this way it can be someone else's fault. Then to top it off she sent Abby with her mother to watch Maddie dance. The poor child had to sit there and watch her class do her routine on stage. Fucking pitiful.

All grown up

My baby has her dance recital tomorrow night. This is a bitter sweet thing for me....Imean seriously when did she become old enough to have a dance recital? She wants to get her ears peirced and I've promised her that if she goes on stage and dances we will do that SUnday or Monday...when did my baby get old enough to DECIDE ON HER OWN that she wants to have her ears peirced. I love watching her grow and seeing the wonderful sweet little girl that she is becoming.....but it also saddens me to think that the next few years are going to go by as fast as theses past three have. I feel like I might blink and she'll be a teenager. I should have pics of her in her costume Monday.I'll try to get some of her on my phone and text them to you, Becky. Did I mention that I have to dance in this thing? Yes, you read that right. All the pst graduates that were on the cover have to dance at the end of the recital to celebrate the 35 year of the studio being opened. I will not being taking video of that!

Getting married!

One of my very good friends Jennifer graduated college and got engaged Saturday!! I'm so very excited for her and Jim. He was absolutely the cutest thing I have ever seen...He was so nervous and excited! I've never got the privilege of seeing someone ask the love of their life to marry them before...So this was a great thing. LOL he practiced on about 10 of us throughout the day, hehe... that was a little weird feeling! Jennifer is now the proud owner of a new 3 karat platinum ring. It is absolutely gorgeous! And everything someone gets engaged Neil starts with wanting to upgrade my ring *sigh* I don't need a big ring. I mean Jennifer's is beautiful and I would be ecstatic to have it....But I love my little ring because I know that it took every penny he had (and that wasn't many) to buy it. But I might agree to one day putting it in a bigger setting. We shall see. I have pictures from this weekend but I'm going to wait until after M's dance pecital (yes, I know that SHOULD be and R) and post them all. Neil and I are going to throw the happy couple an engagement party next month! yay! Now we get to plan a wedding...Oh and did I mention that they are sub-contracting out their house right now to....talk about stress. In other news: Neil and I have decided on a possible date for baby #2....@ August 2007.
